Bertha Mae Butler, age 92, of Roswell, GA., died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on July 6, 2014 from complications related to a recent stroke.

One of seven children, she was born to the late Monroe Boyd Wiles and Lillian Eubanks Wiles on January 23, 1922 in Fayette County, TN. Bert graduated from Fayette County High School in 1939. She married Robert Earl Butler in 1946 in Memphis,TN., before relocating to Atlanta in 1949.

Bert is survived by her husband Robert, three children: Wanda Baker, Diana Butler and Alan Butler of Atlanta, GA. She also is survived by five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Bert's favorite flowers were the Stargazer Lilly and Gardenia.

The family will begin receiving guests at 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Northside Chapel Funeral Home, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075. Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Arlington Memorial Park.

Bert was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
