Joseph Gardner Hardin age 61 of Alpharetta passed away on November 5, 2015. He was a member of the Alpharetta Masonic Lodge #235 where he was a Past Worshipful Master. He was also a member of the Alpharetta chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star #311 where he was a Past Worthy Patron. He was a Scout Leader for 12 years and a Scout Master of BSA Troop #429 and Venture Crew #83. He was a mentor to many young people and was an avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Theresa [Tere] Hardin of Alpharetta; son, John Hardin of Lawrenceville and brother, Bernard San Hardin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel.
