Stephanie True Moss, 64, of Alpharetta passed away on April 26, 2018 surrounded by loved ones after a year and a half battle with Lymphoma. She previously defeated colon cancer and blessed those she knew with twenty more years of life, love, and passion. Stephanie leaves behind her husband of 36 years, Paul Grady Moss, III of Alpharetta; son, Matthew Riley Moss of Cumming; daughter, Melissa Rose Moss of Alexandria, Virginia; mother, Celesta Brockman True, of Hoover, Alabama; sister, Mellanie True Hills of Decatur, Texas; sister Tracy True Dismukes, of Hoover, Alabama; and countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and cousins.
Stephanie is a beloved wife, mother, friend, artist, and mentor. A graduate of the University of Georgia Lamar Dodd School of Art, she is an alumna of the UGA Cortona Studies Abroad Program and enjoyed a lifelong romance with Italy. In her career she designed digital and print communications for newspapers, think tanks, businesses, publishers, nonprofits, and schools. Her passion is bringing people together, whether socially with friends, reunions with Hurricane Andrew survivors, or connecting through genealogy.
The family will receive friends at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors in Roswell on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at 11:00 am with Pastor Don Martin officiating, followed by interment at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell.
