Mrs. Mary Christine Cady, age 52, of Canton, died August 27, 2009. Mary grew up in Trumbull CT, and attended high school at Lauralton Hall in Milford CT. She received her undergraduate from UNC Greensboro in Education and then a Masters in Education from Brenau University. She was a Math and Science Teacher at Northwestern Middle School in Alpharetta. Mary was preceded in death by her mother Anne Fenton and her son Matthew Cady. Survivors include her husband Lee Cady of Canton; daughter Melissa Anne Cady of Canton; father Edward Fenton of Wallingford CT; brothers Patrick Fenton of Wallingford CT, Edward Fenton Jr. of Louisville KY, Daniel Fenton of Marion CT; sister Gerarda Kull of Sylvania OH; in laws Charles and Frances Cady of Pine Bluff AR, Ernie and Diann Sieling of Alpharetta; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 2:30 PM at Birmingham United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dave Benson officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Memorial Park, Canton. Memorial Contributions may be made to Birmingham UMC Pastors Discretionary Fund in memory of Mary and Matthew Cady.
