Mrs. Franes Joan Tenney Baumgardner, 82, of Alpharetta, died November 4, 2009. Born in Battle Creek, Michigan to Ivan and Gladys Lowe Tenney, she is survived by her husband Harry Richard Baumgardner; children, Gail Baumgardner, Jane Smith, Paul and Keith Baumgardner; sister, Jean Tenney, brothers, Mike and David Tenney; 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 7 at 5:30 p.m. at her residence in Alpharetta. The family will receive friends at the home from 2 p.m. until the hour of the service.
