FERGUSON - Ruth Dewey Ferguson, 93, peacefully left this life on Wednesday, December 16, to be reunited with her Lord. Born on October 14, 1916, in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Hazel Lawson Dewey of Brighton, Ontario. She worked for several years for Hershey Malone Engineers in Rochester, N.Y. as an Administrative Assistant. She had been a resident of Georgia since 1978, and for the past several years lived with her daughter Jane (Bill) Lusk in Milton, GA. She was a loyal supporter of Alpharetta Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. Keith Ferguson, originally from Petrolia, Ont. In addition to Jane, she leaves another daughter Susan McCadden of Newark, N.Y., brothers Fredric Dewey of Ottawa, Ont., George Dewey of Brighton, Ont., six grandchildren, Karen Taber, Julie Mazur, Matthew Lusk, Dr. Mark Lusk, Sarah Harris, Peter McCadden, and eleven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held when arrangements are finalized. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to North Fulton Community Charities, or a charity of your choice.
