CARTER, J. RUTH- Passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2010 with her loving family beside her. She was born Jimmie Ruth Estelle Hudson in Memphis, TN in 1925. Her parents were Cecil Wesley and Maude Estelle (White) Hudson. She was the last surviving member of her family, which included three brothers. Jimmie Ruth is survived by her five children, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was a successful business owner in Nashville, TN. Most recently she was a resident of Campbell Stone where she volunteered her time at the magnolia Thrift Shop and other activities. She will be dearly missed by her family and all who loved her. Friends are welcome Saturday, February 20 at 1PM at the Campbell Stone Chapel for a Memorial Service. 2911 Pharr Court South NW, Atlanta, GA 30305. Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory of Roswell is assisting the Carter family.
