March 21, 2010. Age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late S.R. Benson. Dear mother of John R. Benson, Kenneth C. Benson, M.D. (Beth), and Stephen R. Benson (Karen). Fond grandmother of Joshua Benson (Sue), Kristy Benson, Courtney Capriola, Christina Smith (Hunter), Carey McLaughlin (Robert), and Catherine Benson. Loving great-grandmother of Riley Benson, Samuel Benson, Julia Smith, and Cameron McLaughlin. Mrs. Benson was an excellent homemaker, accomplished cook, and champion bridge player. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Private family services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity. Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory of Roswell, GA is assisting the Benson family.
