Frances Elaine Derry age 87 of Johns Creek formerly of Spotswood, NJ died March 27, 2010. She was born in New Brunswick, NJ to Elmer and Erma Ritz. She was a graduate of Rutgers University and was a member of the Spotswood Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary where she held the position of president, vice-president and treasurer. Mrs. Derry was preceded in death by her son, Mark Derry and sister, Doris Kendzulak. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Alexander Derry of Johns Creek; sons, David Derry of Woodstock, Steven Derry of Corinth, NJ, Scott Derry of Buford; daughters, Dawn Murray of Flowery Branch, Margaret Bautista of San Jose, CA; brothers, Bob Ritz of Old Bridge, NJ, Tom Ritz of Jackson, NJ, Jim Ritz of North Bethesda, MD, Bill Ritz of Kendall Park, NJ; sister, Jean Timper of East Brunswick, NJ; brother-in-law, Bill Kendzulak ; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory.
