BISHOP- Betty Bell Bishop, age 80, died April 25, 2010. She was a member of Dunwoody United Methodist Church for 40 years and was very active in the Interpreters Sunday School Class. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Thomas F. Bishop; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Grace Bishop of Ashville, NC and Bill and Sherry Bishop of Dallas, TX; sister, Mildred Grace Bell of Watkinsville; grandchildren, Kelly Bishop, Claire Bishop and Emily Bishop. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Dunwoody United Methodist Church with Dr. Wiley Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Union Christian Church Cemetery, 1130 Union Church Road, in Watkinsville, GA, at 3:00pm. The family requests in lieu of flowers to honor the memory of Mrs. Bishop, that donations be made to Dunwoody United Methodist Church, 1548 Mount Vernon Road, Dunwoody, GA 30338 or to Union Christian Church, Cemetery Maintenance Fund, 1130 Union Church Rd., Watkinsville, GA 30677.
