EVANS – Mr. Kenneth Ray Evans, age 54 of Norcross, GA, formerly of Smithville, Tennessee, died May 16, 2010. Mr. Evans was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Lilburn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl G. and Era Cantrell Evans and three brothers, Frank A. Evans, Roy J. Evans and Brown A. Evans. He is survived by his wife, Janice Evans of Norcross; sister, Joyce and Randy Norred of Woodstock; brothers, Dennis and Bonita Evans of Sugar Hill, Earl and Teresa Evans, Jr. of Barnesville and Dale Evans of Smithville; sisters-in-law, Faye Evans of Smithville and Juanita Evans of Lawrenceville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Joel Caldwell and Rev. Rob Burdette officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The Evans family will receive friends on Monday and Tuesday from 2 PM to 8 PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Roswell, Georgia 770/645-1414.
