CAPE – Mr. Cecil B. Cape, age 79 of Roswell, died May 28, 2010. Mr. Cape was born in Royston and was retired from Westvaco. He was a long time member of Northside Baptist Church. Mr. Cape is survived by his wife, Winnie Cape of Roswell; daughters, Wanda Ivy Cape of Toccoa and Connie and Roy Rogers of Alpharetta; sister, Addie Lee Hart of Royston; grandchildren, Michael and Traci Rogers, Steve and Melissa Rogers, Terry Payne, Jr., Jeremy L. and Hiroko Payne, Ryan M. Fisher and Rachael and Roger Gober; nine great grandchildren; several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Cape will be on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Billy Wallace, Rev. Jason Barber and Rev. Herschel Randall officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. The Cape family will receive friends on Saturday, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Roswell/Alpharetta, 770/645-1414.
