ELLIS – Cheryl Ann Ellis, age 56 of Alpharetta, died July 20, 2010. Born in Springfield, IL, she was a retired teacher from Taylor Road Middle School. She is survived by her husband, Ray M. Ellis of Alpharetta; daughters, Kristina Ellis of Alpharetta and Rebekka Connelly of Decatur; sons, Michael Morettini of Alpharetta and Russell Ellis of Doners Grove, IL; mother, Maryann Sgro of Springfield, IL; sister, Cindy Sgro of Springfield, IL; grandchildren Hayden Connelly and Nathan Ellis. The funeral mass celebrating Cheryl’s life will be on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 3:30 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Springfield, IL. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Catholic Charities of Atlanta or to the American Cancer Society in her memory.
