SCOTT – Mr. Harry C Scott, age 88 of Woodstock, GA, died July 27, 2010. Born in Ashland, Kentucky, Mr. Scott was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army in the European Theatre. He was a retired lineman from General Telephone Company and a member of First Baptist Church of Alpharetta. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores White Scott. He is survived by a daughter, Carol Jane Crupper of Florence, KY; sons, Richard O. Scott of Woodstock, GA and Randall L. Scott of La Vegas, NV; sister, Edna Griffith of Ashland, KY; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Scott will be on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 1:30 PM. The Scott family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors and Crematory, Roswell/Alpharetta, 770/645-1414. www.northsidechapel.com
