TATUM – Mr. James Marvin Tatum, age 68 of Waleska, formerly of Alpharetta, died March 22, 2010. Mr. Tatum was a Master Plumber, a member of Local 72 Plumbers & Steamfitters, a member of the Waleska Lodge #57 F&AM, and a member of Waleska First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Taft Tatum and Monnie Dilbeck Tatum and a brother, John Dewey Tatum. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margaret Pruitt Tatum of Waleska; daughter, Susan Tatum Mortimer and her husband Ted of Waleska; son, Timothy James Tatum of Gainesville; sister, Carolyn Nash of Winder; grandchildren, Tatum Danielle Mortimer and Torre Lane Mortimer, both of Waleska; mother-in-law, Dora Pruitt of Cumming; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Tatum will be on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Dr. Herman Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery.
