Caitlin Ann Davis, age 12, born on November 6, 2009, passed away at home on Saturday February 5, 2022. Caitlin was affectionately known as “Lonnie” by her loving parents John & Jennifer Lothridge Davis of Alpharetta, GA, Caitlin was the center of her parent’s universe. Bringing them much joy and happiness. Caitlin loved her most prized possession, her hands. Which were never far away from her face for a proper “hand jam”. Caitlin also loved rides in the car with the wind in her face and spending countless hours in the recliner with her Nunno. After a long day, Caitlin would always welcome her custom lit bedroom with a laugh and a smile. In recent years, Caitlin loved to visit her new friend Anna Grace Jackson. A neighborhood dachshund, who loved to give her kisses. Caitlin was preceded by her maternal Grandmother, Linda McLeod Buffington (Nunno) 72 of Gainesville, GA. Paternal Grandfather Russell Vinton Davis 75 of Stamford, CT. Great Grandmothers Ann Brittain McLeod (Hossie) 92 and Mildred Pardue Lothridge (Nanny) 96 both of Gainesville, GA. Caitlin is survived by her parents, John & Jennifer, Grandmother Kathleen Anne Davis of Phoenix, AZ. Grandfathers Harry (Sherry) Lothridge of Denton, TX and Scottie Buffington (Poppa) of Gainesville, GA. Her Uncle Britt Lothridge and Aunt Anneke, cousins Grady & Anna of Decatur, GA. Aunt Elizabeth Barzelatto and cousins Anthony & Sophia of Danbury, CT. Aunt Katie Buffington Leonard and Uncle Steven and cousins Jack & Lucy of Cumming, GA. Uncle Scott Buffington of Atlanta, GA. She was also loved by many relatives including Great Aunts & Uncles, Cousins and many family friends, teachers, doctors and therapists. A memorial service is being held Thursday February 10th at 11am at Alpharetta First United Methodist Church 69 North Main St. Alpharetta, GA 30009. Private family burial to be held.
