Mrs. Josephine Cloer Reece

December 17, 1931 - March 7, 2022

Lola Josephine Cloer Reece passed away on March 7, 2022. Born December 17, 1931, Josephine was the daughter of Lola Henry Cloer and Dawson Allen Cloer and of the Dawnville Community near Dalton, Georgia. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Cecil Reece of Roswell, Georgia. Josephine was also predeceased by her two brothers; Frank Cloer (Betty) of Conyers, Georgia and Marvin Cloer and his wife Sarahlene of Dalton, Georgia Josephine is survived by many loving nieces and nephews including Myra Cloer Heath (Richard) of Matthews, North Carolina; Allen Frank Cloer of New Smyrna Beach, Florida; Emilie Cloer Wilson (Greg) of Calgary, Canada; Joseph Fite Cloer of Conyers, Georgia, Debbie Cloer Crowley (Ben) of Suwanee, Georgia; Gary Cloer (Elaine) of Loganville, Georgia and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews whose birthdays she always remembered! She is also survived by some very special cousins including Gary Lanning of Roswell, Georgia; Dianne Stansbury of Wilmington, North Carolina, Ellen Anthony of Dalton, Georgia and Marsha Hooker of Signal Mountain, Tennessee. A memorial service of music and celebration of her life will be held at Northside Chapel Funeral Home on 12050 Crabapple Road in Roswell, Georgia at 12:00 noon with visitation one hour preceding the service. Burial will be later Saturday afternoon in Dalton Georgia. Dr. W. Steven Brown of North River Baptist Church in Roswell, Georgia will be officiating at the services and the family is being served by Northside Chapel Funeral Home. The family appreciates the caring love and assistance which was shown to Josephine by her close neighbors Patricia and Lori, Visiting Angels, and Dr. Richard Kaplan and his nurse, Susan.
