Mr. William Terry Land
October 17, 1963 - May 3, 2022
William Terry Land, 58, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Over the past year, his battle with pancreatic cancer inspired everyone around him through his tremendous courage while facing life’s greatest challenge, and always doing so with a smile. Terry was a dedicated father, a fantastic brother and a loyal friend. He graduated from Roswell High School in 1982 and attended West Georgia College, later receiving his private pilot's license. Terry never met a stranger, and through his Roswell roots, he established many lasting, loving friendships; some of whom were able to visit him on his final days. He lived by the motto “here for a good time, not a long time.” Through his adventures of flying and skydiving, being known as a crazy roller-skater, an avid (but “not so great”) golfer and skier, he always lived life to the fullest. Terry loved hard and next to his family and friends, he loved to cheer on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs, Green Bay Packers, and Atlanta Braves. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter Madison Land and her fiancé Noah Aguirre, his mother Barbara Walls Phillips, sister and brother-in-law Tammy Land Duley and Dave Duley, niece Landyn, and nephew Kyler, along with many close friends, all of whom were like family to him. The family welcomes everyone and asks in lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The Wellstar Foundation https://www.wellstar.org/community/foundation/donate
