Alison Perry Alchamaa, age 35, of Woodstock, GA passed away on December 11, 2023.

Alison graduated from Dublin High School in 2007. She was active in sports, playing soccer and running cross country. She also played the clarinet and xylophone in the Fighting Irish Marching Band. After graduation, Alison attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 2012 with a degree in Athletic Training. After her college graduation, Alison went to work with North Fulton Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine and was the long-time athletic trainer serving Roswell High School. She loved her Roswell Hornets! Upon leaving her role at Roswell High School, Alison was the first employee hired at Source One Fitness, shaping the company from the ground up. Alison loved her students, and followed them after their graduation. Alison had a giving spirit, helping any one that she could. If she didn't know the answer to a question, she would do the research and find it out.

In loving memory of Alison, we celebrate the extraordinary life of a woman whose kindness knew no bounds. Alison was a shining example of compassion and selflessness, forever extending a helping hand to anyone in need. Her unwavering devotion to others was truly remarkable; she constantly went above and beyond to uplift and support people from all walks of life. Whether it was a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, or a helping hand, Alison was there without hesitation.

Alison's incredible capacity for empathy touched the hearts of countless individuals, radiating warmth and love wherever she went. Her infectious smile and spirit drew people in, easily fostering deep connections with friends, family, colleagues, and her community. She had an innate ability to make everyone around her feel valued and appreciated, offering unwavering support during both joyous and challenging times.

To say that Alison was cherished by those who knew her would be an understatement. Her kindness and genuine concern for others forged lifelong bonds, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched. Alison's impact was profound.

Alison's kindness was not limited to her personal relationships; it extended into her professional life as an Athletic Trainer as well. Known as a pillar of support and a trusted confidante, she tirelessly enhanced the lives of her work family. Her colleagues fondly remember her wisdom, patience, and open-heartedness, which created a harmonious and nurturing environment. Many of the students Alison has worked with over the years knew her as a dedicated, empathetic, and supportive person who tirelessly supports students, ensuring their physical well-being and fostering an environment where they not only reach graduation, but also pursue their dreams with resilience and determination.

Alison's contributions to her workplace were immeasurable, making a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to share in her professional journey. In this time of grief, let us continue to honor her legacy by embracing and embodying the virtues she exemplified. May her memory inspire us to be kinder, more compassionate individuals, and may her spirit forever remain a guiding light in our lives.

Alison is survived by her devoted husband, Danny Alchamaa, and her precious Golden Retrievers, Penny and Bodie. Her parents are Peggy and Vince Perry of Dublin, GA, and her parent-in-laws are Debbie and Hassan Alchamaa of Lawrenceville, GA. She is also survived by her sister, Kelsey Ferguson, and her brother, Tony Perry, along with numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on December 19, 2023 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Northside Chapel in Roswell, GA. The funeral service will begin at 2:00pm in the chapel, immediately followed by the burial at Mt. Oliver Baptist Church.

Alison was so beautiful inside and out. She loved her Georgia Bulldogs. She loved her family, friends and students deeply. Alison was an organ donor; even in death she was reaching out to help others in need. Alison will be forever missed.
