The family of Allison Michele Sunderman is saddened to announce her untimely passing on October 28, 2023 at the age of 42 years. Allison was born on November 11, 1980 in Wilson, North Carolina and raised in Collierville, Tennessee. Allison most recently resided in Woodstock, GA. Allison graduated from Collierville High School in 1999 and earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in 2003. Allison's proudest accomplishment, her greatest achievement, was her beloved daughter, Emma Hope. In naming Emma, Allison declared her faith that the future was filled with infinite potential. Allison was an intelligent woman with many creative abilities. She expressed her talents through a variety of artistic mediums, most recently delighting in the simplicity of quiet arts and crafts with Emma. Allison enjoyed baking and making handcrafted gifts for loved ones. Allison is survived by daughter, Emma Hyzen and best friend, Eric Hyzen; parents, Linda Nowlin Moss, Dr. Michael Sunderman (Kathy); grandmother Jean Kramer; sister Stephanie Oberstein, brothers Rob Sunderman (Jennifer), Jon Moss Jr., Brandon Warren and Daniel Warren; nieces Sydney, Molly and Lucy; nephews Dylan and James; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by grandparents James and Joan Nowlin, Robert Sunderman and Dale Kramer. Relatives and friends will gather in honor of Allison's life during visitation at the Northside Chapel Funeral Home 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, Georgia, on Monday, November 6 at 10:00 am followed by a memorial service at 11:00 am.
