Andrew Milan YaSenka, 83, of Roswell, GA, passed away peacefully after a short illness. He was born in Mather, PA, to the late Andrew Phillip YaSenka and Susan Balas YaSenka.
He graduated from Newton Falls High School, in Newton Falls, OH, in 1960 where he was voted "most handsome" in his senior year.
Andy joined the United States Air Force in 1960, serving four years on active duty, and two years in the Air Force Reserve.
He worked for several fire protection companies in Ohio and Georgia before founding his own business, Fire Protection Hydraulics, Inc. He was a member of the National Fire Protection Association, certified in Fire Protection Engineering Technology, and held a Fire Protection Systems Designer License in the state of Georgia.
He loved collecting guitars and played in several swing bands, performing Big Band music throughout the Atlanta area.
He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Frances (Nolan); two daughters, Bethany Miller of Dawsonville, GA and Carrie Davis (Keith) of Cumming, GA; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Judith Geist of Cortland, OH and Mary Hall of Warren OH; and a host of nieces and nephews.
His remains will be interred at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
