Obituary

Phyllis Anita Robbins Graves Lee, age 69, passed away on June 11, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Few people moved through life the way Anita did, collecting friends at every turn and holding onto them for decades, all while facing whatever came her way with grace and an unshakeable Christian faith.

Anita was born on February 9, 1957, to Elus and Billie Robbins at Crawford-Long Hospital in Atlanta, the only daughter among three brothers, Tony, Roger, and Scott.

She was the devoted mother to her sons Mark and Brandon Graves, Christopher Lee, and step-son Scott Lee. Raising her boys was the great joy of her life.

Her career took her from National Data to retail at Paper Affair, and finally to fifteen years in real estate with Better Homes and Gardens. Whether she was helping a stranger find the perfect wedding invitation or guiding a family into their new home, Anita had a gift for meeting someone for the first time and making them feel like an old friend.

Anita was a magnetic presence who made every room warmer. She co-hosted the beloved Atlanta "White Sock Affair" with her lifelong friend Leslie Kipling Cato, and was a founding member of a Dinner Club that she and her closest friends have kept alive for over 40 years.

She loved her secret beach, her cabin in Clayton, and chasing the fall color in Gatlinburg.

Anita is survived by her Brothers; Tony, Roger and Scott Robbins, Mark Graves Sr of Norcross, Ga., James Lee of Alpharetta, Ga., her Sons Mark Graves of Cumming, Ga., Brandon Graves of Atlanta, Ga., Christopher Lee of Acworth, Ga., her Daughter-in-laws Stephanie Graves of Cumming, Ga., Emily Lee of Acworth, Ga., her Granddaughters Drew Graves of Cumming, Ga., Charlotte Lee of Acworth, Ga.

Service will be held at Northside Chapel on July, 11th at 12:00, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell Ga. Reception to follow.
Anita will be laid to rest at Yahoola Baptist Church of Dahlonega, Ga.
