Annie’s greatest joy was her family.

Annie Ruth Croft Martin, age 88, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, October 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Annie was born on March 4, 1938, in Woodstock, Georgia, to the late Roy Croft and Allie Mae Richardson Croft. She grew up as one of ten children, alongside five brothers and four sisters.

Annie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Harold Martin; her son, Mark Martin; and her daughter, Sheila Martin O’Kon.

A devoted and hardworking woman, Annie retired from Siemens after more than 40 years of employment. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed keeping her mind sharp with crossword puzzles and Sudoku. Above all, however, Annie’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Her life was richly blessed by her four children, 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Annie will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to those around her. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and her presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacie Whitfield and her husband, Greg, of Douglasville, Georgia, and Karen Martin of Dallas, Georgia; as well as Linda Croft Ramey, Brenda Hill, and Bill O’Kon; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchild, and many other beloved family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory in Roswell, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors & Crematory. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery in Roswell, Georgia.
