Aubrey Wilson Jones, formerly of Bishopville, South Carolina went to be with The Lord, at the age of 89, on Monday May 6, 2024. Known around Atlanta as "The Toast of the South", Aubrey spent the past 60 plus years playing piano at Cherokee Country Club, The Ritz Carlton Atlanta, Top of the Mart, Atlanta Board of Realators, and Alpine Trattoria Alpharetta. Aubrey was an extreme extrovert who spread joy everywhere she went. Her former students, friends, neighbors and family will miss her greatly. Aubrey is survived by her children and their spouses Tom & Nanette Jones and Aubrey & John Groves, her grandchildren and their spouses Garrett & Amy Hughes, John Keith & Isabella Groves, Jesse-Lynn & Bobby Verdin, Thomas & Jessica Jones III, Madison & Christopher Pedro, and Wesley Jones, and her great grandchildren Jaxson & Jeremy Hughes, Grant Lawson, Eden Lily Pedro, and Archer Davis Jones, who will carry on her legacy of Southern cooking, love of family, love of Christ, and love of music.
