Barbara (Barb) Willett, age 83, of Peachtree Corners, Georgia passed away September 23, 2024. Barb was born December 10, 1940, in the village of Wallasey located in the historic county of Cheshire, England. She was the daughter of the late Frederick and Irene Crawford.

Barb grew up near Liverpool, England with her eight siblings. In October 1961, she married the love of her life, Sydney (Syd) Willett. In 1975, they immigrated to Montreal, Quebec, Canada with their two young daughters.

For 18 years, they lived in St.Thomas, Ontario, Canada where they made lifelong friendships. In 1995, Syd's career took them to United States. For the next ten years they lived in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. When it became time to retire, they decided to move to Roswell, Georgia to be near their eldest daughter and her family.

Barb was known for her ability to connect with people. No matter what challenges she faced, her attitude was always positive and optimistic. She could often be found in a cozy reading nook enjoying a book, or preparing something delicious in the kitchen. She enjoyed traveling and spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Barb is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings, Ronald Crawford, Thelma Cook, Marjorie Halewood, and Anne Crawford. She is survived by her loving husband Syd; her daughters Samantha Murray (Kevin), of Peachtree Corners, GA and Kerry Willett-Vali (Mark), of Oakville, Ontario, Canada; her brother Fred Crawford (Norma), sisters Patricia Bond (Fred), Jean Male and Ethel Jones; her grandchildren Patrick, Emma, Madeline and Rachel.

The funeral service to honor the life of Barbara Willett will be at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, September 30, 2024 in the Chapel at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Johns Creek, Georgia.
