Betty Holbrook Hall of Dunwoody, GA. passed away on July 31, 2023 at the age of 92, a few weeks shy of her 93rd. birthday. Born in Hartwell, GA., Mrs. Hall lived in Lavonia, GA. before moving to Tucker, GA. where she raised her family. She held several administrative positions with C&S Bank and Lanier Worldwide before retirement. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church for many years where she especially enjoyed singing hymns each service. She was a homemaker who liked to entertain friends and family. Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Russell F. Hall; son, Richard Hall; parents, Thaddeus Emil Holbrook and Atha Conally Holbrook; brothers Robert Holbrook and Edward Holbrook; and sister Macie Sewell. She is survived by her son, Ronald Hall and wife Lori of Jasper, GA.; Grandson Ryan Hall and wife Tara of Marietta, GA.; Grandson Adam Hall of Roswell, GA.; Granddaughter Carly Nessmith and husband Cori of Marietta, GA.; Grandson Ben Hall and wife Mary of Decatur, GA.; Granddaughter Anna Luongo and husband Matt of Decatur, GA.; 5 Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family is planning a graveside service in Lavonia, GA. at a future date.
