Betty Bowers Haygood, age 95, of Woodstock passed away on February 11, 2025. Mrs. Haygood was a long-time member of Lebanon Baptist Church where she taught a number of women's Bible studies over the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Louis Haygood. She is survived by her three sons: Cliff (Dianne) Haygood, David Haygood, and Gary (Theresa) Haygood; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta, Georgia (Section 41), officiated by her pastor, Dr. Brian Peterson, Lebanon Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations in her memory to Lebanon Baptist Church, 11250 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075.
