Carlton Wayne Butler of Roswell, Georgia went to be with our Lord on April 14, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born in Chatsworth, Georgia on March 24, 1936 to Lois Black and Olen Butler.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Underwood. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Cheryl Butler; his sister-in law, Renee Lyle and Lamar Elrod; his daughter, Vickie (Gary) Mabry; his son, Richard (Darlene) Butler; his son, Mike (Bethany) Butler; his daughter, Lori (Robert) Adkison; his daughter, Lynne (Eric) Chalkiadi; eight grandchildren: Claire, Eve, Ryan, Kevin, Jacob, Isaac, Hannah, Macayla, and Ethan; and seven great grandchildren.

Carlton was print shop manager at the Downtown Rich's Department Store for 31 years and then served as the maintenance supervisor at Fellowship Bible Church for 13 years. Before he retired, he worked two years at the North American Mission Board.

His family will receive friends on Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. A funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
