Carolyn Goode Morse, 76, of Roswell, Georgia passed away peacefully to be with our Lord on February 14, 2024. She has joined Tracy, her beloved husband of 47 years, and we are sure they are laughing and joking together once again.
She was born on August 9, 1947, in Tifton, Georgia to the late Marvin and Julia Goode. She was the middle child of seven and has always been known for her sweet spirit and generosity. At the age of eleven, Carolyn accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
After she graduated from Tift High in 1965, she moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area where she met and married her soulmate, L. Tracy Morse, Jr., on September 14, 1968. They spent their married life in the Roswell/Atlanta area. Her life revolved around being a wife, mother, Ooomy, Moomy, homemaker, southern cook, avid gardener, and preschool teacher. She was a long-time member of Wieuca Road Baptist Church, and in that time, she served on the Women's Missionary Union and was a Sunday School teacher. In her later years, she found so much joy in teaching preschoolers at North River Baptist Church and Cornerstone Preschool.
What people will remember most about Carolyn is her gift of hospitality, love of family and serving others, seeing the best in everyone, and paying kindness forward. This is her legacy of love!
She leaves behind her daughter, Kristen Morse Keenum, son-in-law, James and their two children, Andrew and Alexandra Celeste Crabtree and her husband, Frazier; son, Kevin Louis Morse; her three sisters, Linda Wilson; Marlene Mathis and her husband Melvin; Kay Berkeypile and her husband, Kenny; and her many nieces and nephews.
