Carolyn Jane Tracz, 75, of Marietta, Georgia passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2023. Carolyn was born November 30, 1947, in Oak Park, Illinois, to Stanley E. Lifford and Dorothy Jane Williams Lifford.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Ronald F. Tracz, and her daughter Cheryl L. Tracz; sister Madonna Nally and beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her eldest daughter, Jennifer J. Tracz; and sisters, Deana Lifford McMillian and Marlene Lifford Heppner.
Carolyn was a 1965 Kelvin Park High School graduate and had a career she was very proud of with Colonial Life and Accident Insurance. After her retirement, Carolyn passionately cared for her eldest daughter. She continued to champion Breast Cancer Research in memory of her eldest daughter and her mother and sister. The family would like to thank their friends and extended family for their loving support.
Services will be held on February 4, 2023, at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, GA 30075. There will be a reception at 12 PM and the memorial at 1 PM. The family has requested that memorial gifts be made to charities meaningful to Carolyn, including The American Cancer Society, and Rescue Me Georgia.
