Obituary

Carrie MacMillan Robinson, age 82, of Roswell, GA, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
She was born January 25, 1943 to the late Hugh and Margaret MacMillan of Atlanta, GA.
Before she began school, she moved with her family to Connecticut because of her
father's work with the Coca Cola Company.
At age 14, Carrie's father took her to a Billy Graham Crusade, where she surrendered her
life to Jesus Christ as her Savior and Lord. The HOLY SPIRIT took up residence in her,
and began to radiate His love out of her face to others. He began shaping her into the image
of Jesus.
At age 21, in 1964, she moved to San Francisco to begin her life in business. She joined
with Sutro & Co., a stock brokerage firm. There, she met Dick Robinson. They married in
Noroton Presbyterian Church, Darien, CT, in 1965. Their marriage was ultimately based on
the Lord's principles and brought great love and joy to nearly 60 years of wonderful marriage.
Their marriage was blessed with three children; Laura (Danny), Gwen (Mitch) and Daniel
(Meridyth). These three have provided Dick and Carrie with 10 wonderful grandchildren. She is
also survived by her two brothers, Hugh and Charles.
In December, 1974, Carrie and Dick joined hands and prayed to be baptized with the Holy
Spirit (to be filled by and empowered by the Holy Spirit). After that moment, their lives have
had noticeable supernatural empowering as they ministered during God's assignments (Ephesians
2:10).
On July 16th, 1976, when God had placed his call on Dick to become a pastor, Carrie assumed
the role of Pastor's Wife. In this Calling, she brought countless blessings to God's Flock. She
ministered love, wisdom, encouragement, and healing to many - especially among the women.
She came to be a spiritual "mother" to so many, and they experienced God's healing love
through her. In this pursuit, she connected best with others mostly during one-on-one time
together. We rejoice that she is now in the presence of the Lord.
Though we miss her, we are very grateful for our years together.
Her Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, April 26th, at Northside Chapel (12050
