Obituary

Chasen Matthew Petcovic passed away unexpectedly in his bed on March 21st at the sweet young age of 13.  Our hearts are broken, as just hours before he was pitching in a baseball game and then celebrating with his friends, playing football afterwards.
A beautiful heart, an unbelievable soul, Chasen was first and foremost a Christian.  He was a boy after God's own heart.  He was loving, kind, happy, joyful, adventurous, silly, and funny.  He loved to dance and play.  He loved to go for rides and play with his dogs.  Chasen was a great friend, an awesome brother and an incredible son.  He was truly loved by all that knew him and loved them boundlessly in return.  He was a light in this world and seemed to brighten up every situation, as his memory will continue to do so.
He attended Stonecreek church with his family and was highly involved with the youth program there.  In addition, he excelled in youth sports and was one of the largest and most loving personalities known and loved throughout the Hopewell Youth Baseball and Cambridge Bears Football families.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Alyx, as well as his 3 amazing brothers, Caden, Brycen, and Keaton.  He also had a special spot in his heart for his grandparents, Francis & Melva Petcovic of Rochester, PA, and Deborah Phillips of Cumming, GA.
In memory of Chasen, we are honored to have established a charitable foundation in his name. The "Live Like Chasen Petcovic" foundation will continue his legacy by supporting causes that were close to his heart. https://www.givesendgo.com/LLCP?fbclid=IwAR1vQgXtZb-42X9EQHnkcMJ6pZ5QHUvfEsvGtoMVruarUVc3R8OE-jeDQT0&mibextid=Zxz2cZ
After suffering through this tragedy, we truly believe that the Lord is looking to do big things in his name.
A Celebration of Life service for Chasen will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 6 o'clock at Stonecreek Church in Milton. The Petcovic family will receive friends at the church from 5 o'clock until the time of service. A private graveside service will take place on Tuesday.
