Christa “Marie” Kimbrell age 78 of Canton, GA. passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on September 9, 2026. Marie was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Kimbrell; son, Alvin Kimbrell; parents, Jess and Catherine Jarrett; siblings, Charlotte Jarrett, James Jarrett, Wallace Jarrett, Jess Jarrett, Jr., Marvin Jarrett, Kenneth Jarrett and Bobby Jarrett. Marie is survived by her two children and their spouses, Sam and Kristi Kimbrell and Christa and Charles Pierce; grandchildren, Brittany Kelly, Jacob Kimbrell, Cody Kimbrell and Tiffany Leitch; great-grandchildren, Olivia Kelly, Charlotte Kelly, Miles Kimbrell, Maggie Kimbrell and Noah Lietch; siblings, Kathy Hudson, Patricia Buice, Brenda Freeman, Inez Castleberry, Steve Jarrett, Irene Mumper, Rachel Holmes and Johnny Roberts along with numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 1:30pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The Kimbrell family will receive friends on Saturday from 11AM until 8PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
