Born in Wichita, Kansas, Christiane Lawrene Sherdon-Tsane was a radiant light whose warmth and grace touched everyone she met. She attended Garrison Mill Elementary, Mabry Middle School, and had just begun 9th grade at Lassiter High School.
From her earliest days, Christiane's life was grounded in faith. She found spiritual growth and belonging at Woodstock City Church, where she learned to live with kindness, humility, and courage. Her faith shaped her character and guided her through every challenge with strength and grace.
Christiane is forever loved by her parents Christy and Lawrence Tsane, her sister and best friend Enry Tsane, and her grandfather Donell Sherdon. She is welcomed into eternal rest by her grandparents Dian Thomas, Jeanne Tonfak, and Charles Tonfak. Her family was her heart—her greatest source of love, laughter, and joy.
Despite living with epilepsy, Christiane turned her challenges into purpose. She became a child epilepsy advocate, raising awareness through the Angels of Epilepsy Foundation and supporting AJ's Law to make Georgia schools seizure-safe. She appeared on a CURE Epilepsy podcast and in the Epilepsy Foundation Kids Crew Magazine, inspiring families nationwide.
A gifted athlete, Christiane was a Georgia State Champion, Junior Olympian, and Adidas Silver Medalist, ranked among the top young sprinters in the nation. She ran every race with passion, courage, and faith.
Her legacy shines on in every life she touched.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
