Mrs. Clara Marvine Cruz, age 94, of Alpharetta, Georgia passed away Monday, August 18, 2025. Marvine was born on November 20, 1930 in Marietta, Georgia, the daughter to the late Hughey and Mae Belle Wheeler.

Marvine met Miguel when he was in the service and they were married May 14, 1955. They were married until he passed, May 2, 2013; twelve days from their 58th wedding anniversary. They lived in Marietta, Georgia and had four children, Alvin, Jeffrey, Scott, and a daughter, Tracy.

Along with her parents, Marvine is preceded in death by her husband, Miguel Cruz and two siblings; sister, Aliene Gonzalez, and a brother, Eugene Wheeler; additionally, a dear daughter-in-law, Cheryl Cruz. She is survived by one sister, Catherine Argo Strain (95), her four children: sons, Alvin Cruz (Beverly), Jeffrey Cruz (Cheryl), Scott Cruz (Melinda) and a daughter, Tracy Cruz Hopson (Daniel); 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and many friends.

The visitation for Marvine will take place at twelve o' clock in the afternoon on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at the Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Rd, Roswell, Georgia. The funeral service to honor the life of Clara Marvine Cruz will be two o' clock in the afternoon following the visitation. A reception to follow the conclusion of the service at Marvine's and Miguel's favorite restaurant, El Porton, 11190 Alpharetta Hwy, Roswell, GA 30076.
