Obituary

Clyde Andrew "Drew" Ludwick, 76, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026. Born on July 22, 1950 to parents Mark and Althea Ludwick, Drew was well loved and well-respected by all who knew him.

Drew proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps for six years, carrying the values of honor, discipline, and commitment throughout his life. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business from Thomas Edison University, went on to receive his Master of Business Administration from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, and became a Certified Public Accountant.

For 37 years, Drew owned and operated his own CPA practice, earning the trust and respect of a loyal clientele. He was an active member of the Georgia Association of Accountants and Tax Professionals, serving on its Board of Governors for seven years. His dedication to serving others also extended to his church, where he faithfully served as Treasurer of Morning Star Chapel.

In 1983, Drew and his beloved wife, Faith, made Atlanta their home. Married for 47 wonderful years, theirs was a remarkable love story that began when they met as young adults and grew into a lifetime of partnership, adventure, and unwavering support. Together they enjoyed running, completing numerous half and full marathons, including many memorable Peachtree Road Races.

Drew had a number of different passions in his life. He loved cooking for family and friends, tending to his garden, spending hours with a good book, and sharing his favorite sayings and words of wisdom with those around him. He and Faith found great joy in traveling together, creating treasured memories in Italy, Alaska, Japan, and St. George Island; places that remained among his favorites. He also enjoyed sharp shooting and was a familiar, friendly presence in his neighborhood, where he formed lasting friendships through his active community involvement.

Drew is survived by his devoted wife of 47 years, Faith Ludwick; his daughter, Stephanie Pisula; his grandchildren, Bradley, Ellie, and Andrew Pisula; his sisters, Lyn McNair (Wally) and Jan Winters (Glenn); his nephews, Lee McNair (Jill) and Michael McNair (Stephanie); and his beloved dog, Jessie.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2026, from 2. at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. A memorial service celebrating Drew's life will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made in Drew's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the Humane Society, or AccentCare Hospice.
