Obituary

Our beloved mother, Corrine Ann Maycher, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. Corrine was born on August 24, 1932, in Rugby, North Dakota to her late parents, John and Esther Finnegan. Corrine was the oldest of 4 siblings, Patricia Finnegan, Robert "Bob" Finnegan and Susan Driessen. Corrine moved to the Chicago area from Rugby at the age of 2 and moved to Sterling IL in her high school years. She met and married her high school sweetheart, Donald J Maycher, in Sterling, IL. They lived in Sterling Il., Crown Point Ind., and Marietta, Ga before retiring to The Villages in Florida.
Corrine lived a life filled with joy, committed to her faith and her family. Each family member knew they were deeply loved by her, and they loved her in return. She knew God was with her through all her days and welcomed her home. While Corrine enjoyed traveling, shopping, and working in retail, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Friends and family alike were drawn to her happy and loving spirit, and she will be missed by all.
Corrine is survived by her children and their spouses, Gary Maycher (Toni), Tim Maycher (Sue) and Mary Pat Hodges (Ryan). She was blessed to have 5 grandchildren-Alex Maycher, Justin Maycher, Nicole DeCaestecker, Wyatt Hodges and Owen Hodges as well as 3 great grandchildren-Gavin Maycher, Leighton DeCaestecker, and Eleanor DeCaestecker.
