Danny Johnnie Cagle, age 70 years old of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Danny was a long-time member of Boiling Spring Primitive Baptist Church where he served as Pastor for several years. He was loved and respected in many circles. He has worked at Cagle Bonding Company for almost 50 years and became the owner in 2016. Danny began the North Georgia Wrestling Association in 1991 and was inducted into the NAWA Hall of Fame in 2024. In addition, Danny was an avid poker player and enjoyed the company of all of his friends.
Danny Cagle was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Mildred Cagle and brother-in-law Hoyt Pruitt. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cagle and his children Shannon Cagle, Amanda Bradshaw (Brandon), and Nathan Prichard (Lesile) and his step-children, Ryan DeRienz, Jordan Gonzalez, and Alexis Gonzalez (Ivan Chilk) and grandchildren, Sadie and Cody Bradshaw; Ethan, Carlie, Tucker, and Wyatt Prichard, and Travis Terry. He is also survived by his sisters Janice Pruitt, Joan Griffin (Don), Renee Wright (Gary), and Jeanie Benson (Phil).
Visitation at Northside Chapel will be held on Thursday July 10, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be at Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
