Danny Walter Turner, 67, passed away on October 14, 2023, in Hickory Flat. He was born on 11/03/1955 in Chamblee, Georgia. Danny was preceded in death by his father, Walter T. Turner, Jr. and his mother, Flonnie Lou Manus. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Holly Turner, sisters Rhonda Kay Turner and Teresa Ann Turner, and brother Thomas Eugene Turner.
Danny loved his cats. He survived double transplant surgery on 10/16/2014 and was gifted a new liver and kidney. He was proud to be a Roswell Police Officer and earned the rank of Lieutenant. He spent nearly 20 years working alongside his brother, Thomas Eugene Turner and his father, Walter T. Turner, Jr. at Turner 4-Wheel Drive Parts Company. He spent the last years of his career as a 911 dispatcher for the City of Roswell.
Danny was passionate about Ham radio and all things related to the weather. He had the biggest heart and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 2PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
