Obituary

David George Nasser
May 16, 1969 – June 22, 2025

David George Nasser, 56, passed away peacefully at his home in Roswell, Georgia, on June 22, 2025, after a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Born on May 16, 1969, in Methuen, Massachusetts, David was the beloved son of the late George and Claire Maroun Nasser and brother to the late George Nasser. He grew up in a large, extended family surrounded by laughter, adventure, and a deep love for family. A graduate of Syracuse University, David moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1994. David was exceptionally brilliant and had a very successful career in software sales with many notable companies.

David is survived by his loving wife, Susan Miller, stepson, Jack Crump of Roswell, GA, his beloved son, Josh Nasser (Alexis) of Gainesville, GA, and their son, Brooks Nasser, brother, Charles Nasser (Maureen) of Methuen, MA, niece Ravenne Nasser of Boston, MA, nephew, Trey Nasser of Salem, NH, nephew Kevin LaCroix of Merrimac, MA and many extended family members of the Maroun and Nasser families.

David found great joy in cooking, traveling, hiking, golfing, scuba diving, playing the guitar, and spending time with his friends. He loved his many rescue dogs over the years. His quick wit and great sense of humor always brought laughter to those around him. Whether sharing a laugh, planning the next family adventure, or simply soaking in the sunshine at the lake, he brought joy and warmth to every moment.

Those who knew David will remember his boundless positivity, even in the face of illness. Throughout his battle with cancer, he remained joyful, strong, and full of life—never letting the disease define him. His strength, spirit, and unwavering optimism and hope were a gift to all who walked alongside him.

We are left with broken hearts but filled with beautiful memories and deep gratitude for the time we had with him. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Atlanta Lab Rescue (atlantalabrescue.com) or the National Brain Tumor Society (braintumor.org)

In accordance with his wishes, David will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at Brookfield Country Club, 100 Willow Run Road, Roswell, GA, on Sunday, June 29th between 1pm-4pm. Please join the family in honoring his life.
