Diane Rene Ringwelski passed away on May 30th, 2026 after a ten-month battle with a glioblastoma. She spent her final days at home surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born in Marion, Indiana, Diane lived a life defined by kindness, friendship, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She graduated from Western Michigan University, where she formed lifelong friendships and proudly became a member of Chi Omega sorority, an organization that remained close to her heart throughout her life. On October 12, 1991, Diane married the love of her life and best friend, Todd. Together they shared more than 40 wonderful years of friendship, partnership, laughter, and adventure. Their marriage was built on love, respect, and an enduring commitment to one another. Diane was a devoted and loving mother to her two children, Austin and Andria, who were the pride and joy of her life along with her love for her dogs RJ, Mattie, Skye and Blaze.
Her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family and creating lasting memories together. Diane started her family in Royal Oak Michigan before moving to Ann Arbor Michigan for ten years. Since making Alpharetta their home in 2005, Diane and Todd were blessed with an incredible circle of friends who became an extension of their family. Diane truly never met a stranger. Her warm smile, welcoming spirit, and genuine interest in others made everyone feel valued and loved. Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Todd; her beloved children, Austin and Andria; her father Paul Wieten, her brother Doug, and a wide community of family and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Whether gathering with friends, helping someone in need, or simply sharing a conversation, Diane had a gift for bringing people together. She loved traveling, especially to the beach, tennis, and spending time with friends. She adored dogs and found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially when surrounded by the people she loved most. Her generosity, compassion, and infectious enthusiasm touched countless lives and left an enduring mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
