Dona Jean Mullinax, age 85, of Alpharetta gained her angel wings on July 13, 2023. Dona was a lifelong resident of Alpharetta and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church for over 60 years. She graduated from Milton High School and was very proud that she was their first Homecoming Queen in 1956. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver John Mullinax and son, Welsey Mullinax. She is survived by her granddaughter, Tara and Joe Nolan; grandchildren, Amelia Nolan and Easton Nolan; and daughter-in-law, Deree and Glenn Welch. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 2pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1pm to 2pm at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
