Preceded in death by her mother Joan C., father Joseph G. ,step mother Florence Von Hatten, brother Joseph Von Hatten, husband George Hayes and her son in law, Roger Hawks.
Survived by her daughters Lisa Hawks, Pam Moitt, Grandchildren Heather Hawks and Amanda Fos. Great grandchild Cannon Fos. As well her beloved recuse dog, Sweet Pea Hayes And the many friends, neighbors and family who loved her dearly.

A visitation for Dorothy will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 2PM to 3PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. In Lieu of Flowers, those wishing to make donations, donate to Fur Kids Alpharetta. Her most loved charity.
