Douglas Alan Fromm peacefully passed away on August 1, 2026. He is the son of an Air Force Pilot and grew up at the ends of runways from Japan to Germany. His education began in a one room school house in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He spent all of his high school years in Europe, where he first became interested in art. He then attended Washington State University. His art career began in New York City and later moving to San Francisco, where Flower Power Art intrigued him. It was the ultimate recycling – turning trash into treasure. Collage then became his "medium of choice". In 2002 he directed the Annual Mulberry Street Festival in Macon. He is a Signature member of the National Collage Society. Doug has resided in Roswell, Ga since 2006. He is survived by his brothers, Randy Fromm and Marty Fromm, as well as his sister Carol Fromm and his partner of 20 years, Louise Lindsay.
