On Tuesday November 19, 2024, at 12:47 pm, after a lengthy illness, God dispatched his Holy Messenger to the bedside of our beloved, Dwayne "Wayne" Hall to whisper in his ear, "Come ye blessed of my Father, and rest from your earthly labor".
Dwayne Hall, affectionately known as 'Wayne", "D-Nice", "Mr. Hall" or just "Dee". He was born in Meridian, Mississippi on November 27, 1961. He was preceded in death by his parents: Algene Hall (father) and Minnie Lee (Alferd) Hall (Mother), and his sister Wanda Jean Hall. Dwayne was four years old in 1965, when his parents moved to Brooklyn, New York. He received all his Education in Brooklyn New York.
Dwayne loved working with his hands such as automotive repairs, property manager and every year he created life-size holiday displays. He loved cooking, listening to music and being a DJ (making and mixing his house party CD's). He was a pillar on his block, where he served faithfully as the Block Association President for many years. He also worked in law enforcement as a traffic agent, an officer at the United Nation, a correction officer with Juvenile Justice and a deputy sheriff in Texas.
In June of 2022 Wayne relocated from Brooklyn New York to Roswell Georgia, to be closer to family. Dwayne loved spending time with his only child Dwayne Jason Hall, shooting pool and playing basketball, his oldest grandson Dwayne Julian 'DJ' Hall, Dreux Alexander Hall and his daughter-in-law who he loved dearly Tamika Hall. He enjoyed going to his grandson's swimming meets, basketball games, baseball games, foot ball games. He enjoyed hanging out just him & his grandson's at Bowlero, Main Event and the Park. Dwayne Hall was baptized April 2003, and he rededicated his life to Christ September 2024.
Dwayne Hall leaves to cherish his memory, his companion Lakisha Holland; son and daughter-in-law: Dwayne J. Hall, Tamika Hall and his grandson's, Dwayne 'DJ'& Dreux Hall; three sisters and husbands: Shirley Anderson (Tony), Carolyn Hall, and Tonji Zacharie (Joseph): two brothers Algene Hall Jr. and Terrance Hall-Ferrens; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and beloved friends.
