Edward R. Thibodeau, 84 of Watertown, CT passed away on October 24, 2025.

Edward, a loving father to Edward J. Thibodeau and Margaret (& Brandon) Sedgwick, was cherished by his four grandchildren Nathan, Emily, Abigail and Sophia. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, brother James (& Lorraine) Thibodeau, three nieces, three great nephews and two great nieces.

Edward was an avid photographer who loved to document nature and the beauty of the world around him in his photographs. In addition, he enjoyed boating, fishing, and spending time with fellow members of the Waterbury Elks Club. But most of all, he loved to make others laugh. He did this by telling stories from his life experiences and never missed an opportunity to tell a joke and put a smile on another's face.

Edward's Memorial Service Mass will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 10:00 am at the Saint Vincent Ferrer Roman Catholic Church located at 1006 New Haven Rd., Naugatuck, CT 06770. Immediately following the Mass, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Waterbury Elks Lodge #265, located at 283 West Main St. in Waterbury, CT 06702.
