Emily H. "Fay" Garmon, age 91 of Alpharetta, passed away on April 12, 2026 surround by loving family and friends. She was born on February 14, 1935 to Samuel and Emily Copeland Riley Harmon and was one of six children. She worked for several years at the Georgia Capital and 27 years at Nestle supporting the executive team. Fay was a faithful and longtime member of Alpharetta Methodist Church. She was very active in the community as well as at her church. She helped to make countless dinners for the Wednesday night dinners at Alpharetta Methodist. Fay was preceded in death by her husband, O.E. Garmon; 5 siblings and their spouses, Ryan and Margaurite Harmon, Lanier and Evelyn Harmon, Clark and Katherine Harmon, Clyde and Louise Rainwater Harmon and Mary and Roy Kenneth Chambers. Fay is survived by several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. Fay is also survived by her caregiver and Friend, Opal Oliver.

A celebration of Fay's life will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 1PM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fay's memory to Alpharetta Methodist Church.
