Evelyn Barrett age 84, of Cumming, GA formerly of Roswell passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Zora Thackston; son, Timothy David Barrett and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, David Barrett of Cumming, GA; daughters, Karen Barrett of Gainesville, GA and Kathy Burch (Murl) of Canton, GA; grandchildren, Matthew Burch (Michele) of Ball Ground, GA and Meredith Burch of Brunswick, GA; great-grandson, Aiden Burch of Ball Ground, GA and sister, Carolyn Young. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at 2PM in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1PM to 7PM and on Sunday from 11AM until the time of service at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors.
