George Frederick Dear age 78 of Roswell passed away on August 9, 2025. Geroge was born in Alexandria, LA. to Mary Byrd Rawls and Geoge Cleveland Dear. He graduated from Bolton High School in 1965 and went on to get a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and his Masters in Business Administration from LSU. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Julie Chappuis Dear; sons, Bradley Graham Dear (Amy Burks Dear) and Jeffrey Todd Dear; grandchildren, Emma Dear and Harper Dear. A celebration of George's life will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11 AM at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
