Grace Dunkle lived the last days of her 94 years with poise, humor and kindness. Her death from congestive heart failure in the family home on 3 May 2021 in Holly Springs, GA was peaceful and inspiring.

Born Grace Marie Tedesco on 26 December 1926 to Joseph and Maria Tedesco, Grace grew up in upstate New York where she met and married, Eugene Dunkle. Eugene was in the Air Force, and so began a 28-year adventure across the globe that included Japan, Germany and the United Kingdom. Along the way, Grace gave birth to five children: Lynn, Michael, Valerie, Deborah and Joseph. In retirement, she settled in Phoenix, AZ, where she lived an active life of work, hobbies and her favorite activity, shopping.

Grace will always be remembered as the matriarch and true foundation of the Dunkle Family. Her humor, humility and dignity will not be forgotten. A funeral mass will be held at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 715 Hardscrabble Rd, Roswell, GA 30075, followed by burial in the church cemetery.
